made up of adoptive parents, birth family members, adult adoptees, and children
and their family advocates.

Are Special (FASI) is a unique Arkansas-based, private, non-profit,
nonsectarian, licensed adoption agency. Our
mission is to assist Arkansas families to adopt homeless, abandoned, needy and
waiting children domestically and internationally so that these children have
the safe, permanent family.

U.S. WAIT FOR AN ADOPTIVE PLACEMENT. THIS
NUMBER HAS STEADILY INCREASED WORLDWIDE OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS,
AND IS PROJECTED TO CONTINUE. THE
NUMBER IS PROBABLY SEVERAL MILLION CHILDREN
THAT COULD BE PLACED IN HOMES.
